Youtube is HUGE!
If you want to get attention then this is probably the fastest and easiest way to get the attention of huge numbers of people.
I won’t for a minute suggest that these people are buyers but without a doubt they are b-o-r-e-d and if you have something worthy to show there is a high likelyhood you will not only get product exposure but you’ll also get to drive traffic to your site.
You can quickly throw something together with Camtasia or if you’re feeling a little more ambitious have someone demonstrate the use of your product.
You can also add an affiliate link to the description field to get sales. Be sure to use http://… etc. for it to work.
Just in case you can’t think of something interesting to promote as an affiliate there are companies that just promote products on Youtube with this exact method, such as,
brandfame.com
So you could offer this as a type of service for a fee to local companies!

I run several niche web sites outside of the Online Marketing community.
Using SEO methods which I teach, I happily drive free traffic to these sites.
One particular site generates several million unique visitors a year.
For a long time I built ONE big email list from the site.
BIG MISTAKE!
I found that buyers from the site bought diverse ClickBank.com products I had listed on the site.
The point?
SEGMENT or build multiple lists.
Realize that just because you thought your site visitors were their for YOUR reason they are really there for their OWN reason.
Now, had I known that several years ago my auto responder sequences (yes, plural) would have been more highly targeted… and THAT dear reader cost me a @##$@ fortune.
Don’t copy my mistake unless of course you have YOUR reason for doing it.
